I’m a 19 year old builder, designer and entrepreneur from Chicago.
After dropping out of art school, I became obsessed with AI, automation, and tech.
Current projects I'm working on:
builtbyabdul — an automation agency to help businesses scale. This is what I spend most of my time doing.
what now? — an AI tool to help people find direction.
I also try to document my growth and ideas through my blog. Writing is my new creative outlet and I’d like to get better at it through this practice.
Some things I've done:
-I’ve been entrepreneurial my whole life. Ever since moving to America at 10, I helped my Dad sell socks, ornaments, TVs, supplements, books in flea markets, malls and Amazon. I later moved to streetwear, flipping clothes on Grailed until I got banned.
-I started my first real “company” at 15. After teaching myself Photoshop, mass DMing all of my 300 followers on Instagram, and learning how to set up a Shopify website, I launched Mir Studio. This project continued until I lost the love for it after 3 years. I made(and lost) around $25k in total.
-In 2024, Mir Studio turned into Combat which I worked on for a couple months with my friend Ali. We made some products, designed a magazine, and showcased in a pop-up. Combat’s focus has changed since from a clothing brand to a community for creative and ambitious individuals.
More about me:
-I love making things. I dabbled a little bit in video, graphic design, product design, and content creation. Took a break from these to start an agency and focus on actually making money.
-I went to Pratt Institute to study Industrial Design for a semester and dropped out after realizing I didn’t want to be in art school.
-I enjoy lifting weights, driving really fast, and learning.
-My favorite book is the biography of Steve Jobs.
-My favorite movies are Nightcrawler, The Social Network and Her.
-I’m on the search for a curious, kind, and beautiful life partner. If you think you’re a fit—hit me.
Whether you’re building, creating or just exploring new ideas — I’d love to connect. Hit me on email as I'm not too active on socials.
